On Saturday I visited the Point of Ayre to see Robert Stevenson's lighthouse, but was somewhat distracted.....
the Bimota DB5 Mille was new to me, powered by a Ducati 992 desmo engine, weighing 156kg with a frame of cro-mo tubing mated to machined aircraft alloy. Stunning.
plus the Point also has two lighthouses, the lower to warn of the shifting pebbly shore.
All week I was blown away by all the high spec bikes on the Island, just when you thought you had seen it all - you happen upon something even better.
I was browsing the web for comments about this years TT and I came across this blog and first thing that I saw were my bikes :-))) Glad that you like them! I was there with my brother - traveling from Slovenia with a van - both first time at the TT. It was excellent experience driving on the mountain course.
ReplyDeleteTT event itself was unbelievable… Races and sheer speed of course, but also funny characters, very kind locals, beautiful landscape... I will return for sure in the future.
Nice pics!!!
